APARTMENT SOUGHT

We are looking for an apartment in Chicago, July 1 move-in date. Preferably along the Blue line. $1,000 and allows a dog . We not familiar with some neighborhoods in that area. What can be said about the Humbolt Park, Logan Square, Wicker Park or Bucktown areas? Also we've been told that the Pilsin area is ok. Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated. Thanks.
