      Myopic is still there... it's where the old Earwax used to be on the west side of Milwaukee near Damen.

          No it's still there...directly across the street on Milwaukee.

            and much diminished by the move. In the old place, one had this large, airy space dotted with tables that left one naturally looking outward into a common space easily crossed on foot; a good hangout space, in that this design tends to bring people together.

            The new location has a Dennys like layout, closed in booths, discouraging that kind of interaction. Good for a restaurant, maybe, but terrible for a coffeehouse.
